A SCHOLARSHIP FROM INTAKE TO ADOPTION

MVHR seeks Sponsorships to support equines at each phase of their recovery process from intake to adoption. It costs MVHR an average of $6000 to care for an equine annually, with many of those in the recovery process costing much more, due to their extensive veterinary, farrier, and training needs. Sponsorships help make outstanding care, with every need met, at every stage in recovery, a possibility for every horse that comes to MVHR. FOSTER

CRITICAL CAPACITY BUILDING

Foster homes are critical to MVHR to accommodate as many equines as possible. Qualified foster homes host a rescue equine (or equines) on their property, and provide all of their basic day-to-day care, as well as special needs, vet and farrier care.  Each foster home is different, so great consideration is given to which equine might be suitable for which foster situation.  Some foster homes provide all care at no cost to MVHR, while others offer simply space with feed and supplies being provided by MVHR.  Without foster homes helping to alleviate some of the cost, peoplepower, and space demands placed on MVHR and the Ranch, we could not help as many equines as we do.  Please CONTACT US if you would be willing to make room in your heart and your home for a foster equine.
