Current Horses

Current equines at MVHR are in various stages of the recovery.

The ultimate goal for all horses at MVHR is adoption into loving homes of their own. Adoption fees for horses are listed once MVHR has had opportunity to evaluate and get to know the horses after their intake. Those whom we are still in the process of getting to know, or who have an issue we are still helping them with have adoption fees listed as TBD, BUT they ARE still available for adoption to just the right home willing to take on the rewarding care of an equine still in its recovery process.

Please read through our Adoption Process and fill out our adoption interest form if you are interested in adopting! We will follow up to schedule a ranch visit so you can meet the horses in person!

In order to provide outstanding care for each and every member of the herd, whether they are just beginning their recovery journey, or are likely to spend the rest of their lives with us, MVHR seeks sponsors for each equine in our care. Sponsors help cover the annual expense of caring for your special equine, and sponsorships can be partial (every penny helps!), or a full annual underwriting at our Equine Advocate level of giving. This is a great way to make a meaningful difference in the life of an equine, even if you’re not quite ready to take one home! See someone you’d like to sponsor?
