Summer Camp
Next week, registration for our 2018 Summer Camp sessions will open for registration. Mark your calendars for 9 a.m. on March 15 in order to ensure you are able to sign up for your preferred programming!
Our Horse Heroes Summer Camp, allows campers to build connections with their “own” rescue horse as well as a riding horse. This 4-day program includes the development of horsemanship skills along with either a riding lesson or a trail ride (lessons on Tues. & Thurs.; trail rides on Wed. and Fridays).
Through their time with the horses, kids will develop a sense of responsibility and empathy as well as the MVHR core values of R.E.S.P.E.C.T:

- Cooperation
- Trust
Limit of 12 campers each day and all campers must be 8 years or older.
Program days Tuesday-Friday and are from 9am-4 pm (due to the community interest in Eagle County, MVHR will offer a pick up and drop off in McCoy at 8:30am and 4:30pm)
Cost Per Session: $400
Registration and payment is required to reserve your spot.
Sessions:
· Session 1: 6/19/18- 6/22/18
· Session 2: 7/17/18-7/20/18
· Session 3: 7/31/18-8/3/18
· Session 4: 8/7/18-8/10/18
· Session 5: 8/21/18-8/24/18

In addition to Summer Camp, we have a variety of programs for schools and volunteers, and we just announced our first adult clinic to help develop horsemanship skills. The Round-pen and Groundwork Adult Clinic happens on March 17.
