Letter from our Director of Community Programs, Amy Ben-Horin

Dear MVHR Community,

It is with a heavy heart and teary eyes that I am writing to let you all know that I will be leaving Mountain Valley Horse Rescue at the end of the summer. My living situation has changed and the house we currently are living in is being sold. My husband and I have tried to figure out how to stay in Eagle County and have realized that the best option for us is to move closer to Grand Junction (where he works).

It has been a pleasure working with all of you and having the opportunity to grow the education and outreach programs offered for the incredible rescue herd at MVHR. MVHR is currently looking to hire for this position to insure that all programs continue to run with the highest quality for all participants.

I am grateful for this amazing community and how each and every one of you continues to give so selflessly. I am inspired by every volunteer, program participant, the staff and board of MVHR daily.

My hope is to stay involved with MVHR in some capacity as I move west and I look forward to connecting with all of you before I officially leave in August.

Thank you for all you do!

Best,

Amy
