2023 Impact Report

Dear MVHR Friends and Supporters,

Everyday here at MVHR, we talk about numbers. Numbers of horses, numbers of people, numbers of hay bales, pounds of grain, square feet, acres, and of course dollars. Numbers for grants, emails, reports and for figuring out how to help as many horses in need, as well and as quickly as possible.

As we compile some of those numbers for you for our 2023 Impact Report, it feels important to pause for a moment and consider another number. The much smaller number of One.

It is these Ones, these individual stories and moments, where our Impact is most visible. The Impact on individuals - on horses and people. The Impact that changes lives, that stays with us, that resonates and gets shared, that brings tears of joy and sorrow and relief, that provide the funding to make it possible, and that give hope for the future, that there will always be people to help horses in need…true IMPACT.
