This is the Difference You Make ~ 68 Journeys of Hope in 2024.

At Mountain Valley Horse Rescue, it is our mission to accompany all of the horses in our care on their individual Journey of Hope to eventual happy endings with new, caring owners. Today on Colorado Gives Day, you too can be a part of those Journeys.

Some of these Journeys are pictured here. Like Dolly, a championship barrel racer who fell on hard times when her racing days were over. Clementine, who is learning to trust and explore a world with people. Bo, who literally traveled across the country to find health in the mountain air at MVHR. And Vern & Cassidy, who did not know each other until they arrived, but have become fast friends helping each other navigate the world with compromised eyesight. MVHR gives every horse that arrives the personal Journey they need, whether it is physical care like re-feeding and much needed medical care, or skills like trusting people again and receiving training to find their next adventure.

Thanks to YOU, MVHR can continue to support horses on their own Journeys and help them graduate to their next adventure. Our Hearts are Hopeful that you will support the horses that have found their way to MVHR!

Colorado Gives Day is the largest day of philanthropic giving in Colorado. Thanks to the Colorado Gives Foundation and FirstBank $1 Million+ Incentive Fund, your donations are boosted, increasing the value of every dollar you donate.

Our normal capacity is 29 but right now, with 37 rescued horses at the ranch, and a waiting list that continues to hover at over 40, the demand for our services and our mission are greater than ever!

Please help us meet our 2024 goals by visiting MVHR's Colorado Gives Day page. Your gift -- whether $5, $25, $250, $2,500 or more; one time or monthly -- will help even more horses make their own Journeys of Hope towards happy endings!

With sincere gratitude,

~ All of us at Mountain Valley Horse Rescue.

It's the Season of Hope for Horses that need Safety and Love.
