Ready to Volunteer? We offer 2 easy ways to get started:

1) Attend any of our “Saturdays at the Rescue” Community Volunteer Days and Volunteer Orientations from 10:00 - 1:00 on May 20, June 17, July 15 and August 12. All ages welcome, no experience required. Great for individuals, families, service organizations, businesses, or students wanting to give back to the community and spend time at the Ranch. Lunch will be provided, so be sure to email volunteer@mvhr.net to register ahead of time.

All attendees will leave that day as official Certified Volunteers meaning you can return to the rescue anytime to help with chores including Corral Catering (topping of water and hay) and Manure Meditations (cleaning corrals). After spending 10+ hours as a volunteer, you’ll be ready for additional training to be a Grooming Guru or a Tuesday Tech, if you choose.

Need transportation to the Rescue on one of these dates? Let us know when you register and we’ll save a seat for you or your group on our van. We’ll depart from the I70-Wolcott Park and Ride at 9:30 am and return around 1:45. Seating is limited to 14 people.
