Vaccine Grant

This year, Mountain Valley Horse Rescue was fortunate to receive the AAEP/Merck Unwanted Horse Veterinary Relief Campaign grant, focused on supporting horse rescues with their veterinary health needs.

As a main focus of the grant, MVHR received 20 doses of important vaccinations for our horses. Earlier this month, Dr. Silvia Stocker helped to administer the vaccines to the MVHR herd. At the same time, through the help of our amazing volunteers, 22 horses from the MVHR herd received checkups, including vaccinations, and worming.
