HAY!

Yup, it's these guys again....EVHS Football players and Coach Brown. These incredible young men have made it possible for MVHR to have full hay shed! Look at all that hay these guys have stacked over the last few weeks!

MVHR worked closely with local ranches to obtain hay at discounted pricing (some even donated!). Then we partnered with the EVHS football team for loading and stacking help Lunches from Red Canyon Cafe kept the guys in good form, and MVHR made a donation to the team in exchange for their efforts.

With all efforts combined, MVHR was able to fill its hay shed for less that $7/bale delivered and stacked. In a year when hay prices may get to $14/bale, we are comforted to know that MVHR horses will eat well on this years' worth of hay now safely under cover.
